Fairport Pediatrics believes in the benefits of regular preventive care and, therefore, encourages all of our patients to return for periodic wellness exams. Office exams are done more often if a medical condition warrants.
Full examinations are requested six times during the first year of life; three times during the second year; and annually from age two through high school. At the time of your visit, our staff will inquire about any changes in the patient’s overall health and any prescribed medications. Address, telephone number and insurance coverage will also be verified at each visit.

WHAT IS OMT? OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment) is a set of techniques that DOs apply with their hands to the body to help diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries. It can be used to complement or even replace other medical interventions like medications or surgery.
