Meet Dr. Austen

Dr. Austen grew up in Buffalo, New York and graduated from Nichols High School. It was during her time at Nichols that she developed a strong sense of community and a deep commitment to the well-being of its youngest residents. She then attended the University of Rochester where she earned her degrees in Biology and Public Health with a distinction in Public Health.

Dr. Austen received her medical degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Witnessing the resilience and joy displayed by her young patients fueled her dedication to this specialized field of medicine. She completed an Advanced Competency in Medical Education as she is dedicated to training the future generation of pediatricians. She earned her board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Austen finds joy and fulfillment in her personal life. She is happily married to her husband, Kevin, and resides with him in Honeoye Falls. Together, they share a love for travel and exploration, discovering new restaurants, trying different cuisines, spending time with their families, and spoiling their rescue pups Dean and Goose.
