Dr. Edwards grew up in Farmington, NY and graduated from Victor Senior High School in 1999. She then graduated Cum Laude in 2003 from Lafayette College. In 2008 she obtained her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was also inducted into the National Osteopathic Scholastic Honor Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Peds.
In 2012, she completed her pediatric residency at the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong where she also served as chief resident. During her residency she researched and published a study on conjunctivitis in children.
Dr. Edwards is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has also completed a training course in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for Primary Care Physicians and participated in the ECHO Autism Study.
Dr. Edwards believes every patient is unique. Treatment courses that may be right for one child might not be the right one for others. Dr. Edwards lives in Penfield with her husband, 2 sons, and dog Carl. She enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with friends and family.
We know parents like to meet the pediatrician before committing to an office and we are happy to schedule a meet-the-doctor appointment so you have that opportunity and the ability to briefly discuss any concerns you may have.
Dr. Edwards is wonderful! She listens, cares and always make sure my kids are comfortable. She also takes the time to educate me when I have questions. The whole staff is friendly and helps in any way they can. I am very grateful we found them!
Our entire team is dedicated to providing the best possible care and support for your child. We look forward to meeting you!
