Dr. Dovichi, our energetic Midwesterner and mother of four boys, joined Fairport Pediatrics in 2004. She is originally from the Green Bay area in Wisconsin. She earned her undergraduate degree in 1996 and her medical degree in 2000, both from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She completed her pediatric residency at the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Dovichi is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition, she is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She enjoys teaching University of Rochester medical students and precepting pediatric residents.
One of Dr. Dovichi’s cherished professional moments was receiving the Outstanding Teaching Award during her chief resident year. Dr. Dovichi believes in the importance of communication and education in her practice. Dr. Dovichi has been honored with the Patient’s Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Award. She is associated with Strong Memorial Hospital, Highland Hospital, and Rochester General Hospital. Dr. Dovichi strongly believes in the importance of both mental and physical health.
After enjoying Rochester city living for 10 years, Dr. Dovichi now resides in Lima with her husband, sons, dog, and their back yard chickens. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

I love everything about this place. I have never had a problem with anything. Front desk is always on top of appointments, the environment is so welcoming. But Dr Dovichi? This woman is nothing short of an amazing doctor. She has a calming presence, she’s to the point but also will listen to what you have to say. She makes sure that she is thorough and covers every possibility when your little one is sick instead of just throwing antibiotics at you and hoping it gets better or masks symptoms. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Dovichi, I often think of her as sunshine in human form. She is supreme, and we switched pediatricians (having to drive 25 miles farther) because of how much we adore her. We have 7 kids (4 boys, 3 girls) and every one of them love her. She comes into the room and really cares about her patient and families. There are never long waits, we are always able to get in for acute visits and her office staff, nurses and partners (we love them all!) are welcoming, professional, kind, and her rooms are SO fun! Every room is a mural and enchanting, you will be hard pressed to find anyone or place better suited to keep your kids happy and healthy.
Dr Dovichi has been my children's doctor for 5 years now. She is patient and kind as well as being knowledgeable and thorough. We've seen 3-4 other doctors in the practice as well and have always been very happy with our experiences. Would highly recommend this practice.
Dr Dovichi is truly the most genuine and sweet doctor I have ever met. She cares with her whole heart for every single patient she has, and is very open to listening to what you have to say/thoughts.
