With more than two decades of experience caring for children and families, Julie Albright Gottfried brings a deep commitment to pediatric health and a passion for family-centered care to Fairport Pediatrics. Julie has spent much of her career at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester, NY, where she served in a variety of roles—from bedside nurse to clinical nurse specialist to pediatric nurse practitioner. She recently left her well-loved practice at Stony Brook Pediatrics to come to Fairport, where she is delighted to expand her professional expertise in our community.
Julie has a strong background in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and her collaborative approach to care has earned her recognition at the state and national levels. She was part of the team awarded HANYS’ Pinnacle Award for Quality and Patient Safety in 2015 and was honored individually with the Sepsis Alliance’s Erin Kay Flatley Pediatric Sepsis Nursing Award in 2016.
A lifelong learner and dedicated healthcare leader, Julie is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State. She has also served in leadership roles within Sigma Theta Tau’s Epsilon Xi chapter and contributed to national initiatives to improve pediatric sepsis outcomes.
Julie is excited to bring her experience and compassionate care to the families of Fairport and looks forward to building strong, lasting relationships with her patients.
We know parents like to meet the pediatrician before committing to an office and we are happy to schedule a meet-the-doctor appointment so you have that opportunity and the ability to briefly discuss any concerns you may have.
